React Native app development, from brief to the App Store

One codebase, both stores. Gitrex builds iOS and Android apps in React Native end to end — design collaboration, build, store submission, and post-launch support — with the repository, developer accounts, and store listings in your name throughout.

What it is

Mobile App Development, in plain terms

React Native, end to end — design collaboration, build, store submission, and post-launch support. This is the discipline Gitrex grew up in: the portfolio on the Work page shipped through this practice.

Who it’s for

A good fit if you are…

  • Founders taking a validated idea to a native app on iOS and Android
  • Businesses with an existing web product that needs a mobile companion
  • Teams with a React Native app that needs a senior hand to finish, fix, or ship
What’s included

What the work covers

  • Product and design collaboration before the first line of code
  • React Native build with a typed, maintainable codebase
  • Backend integration (Supabase, Postgres, Firebase, or your existing API)
  • Push notifications, authentication, in-app purchases, and payments
  • App Store and Play Store submission, review handling, and release management
  • Post-launch support and a clear path into Ongoing Engineering
Questions

Mobile App Development: common questions

Why React Native rather than fully native iOS and Android?
One codebase ships to both stores, which keeps the team small and the product consistent. For most products it is the pragmatic choice; where a feature genuinely needs native code, React Native lets us write exactly that piece natively.
Do you handle App Store and Play Store submission?
Yes, including store listings, review responses, and release management. Both developer accounts are created in your name so you own the listings.
Can you take over an existing React Native app?
Yes. We review the codebase first and tell you honestly whether it is worth continuing or better rebuilt, then scope the work from there.
Do you build the backend too?
Yes. Most mobile projects include an API or a Supabase/Postgres backend, admin tooling, and the web pieces around them — see Custom Web Development.
